To invest in nature for the benefit of the environment and the future generations of Australia. To this end a significant portion of our earnings is put toward the breeding and keeping of bees.

FOUNDER
Neil holds a City & Guilds Certificate in Chocolate Cocoa and Sugar Confectionery and has experience in food technology, civil construction, and mining. He successfully managed NATA testing, improved mining operations, and earned a Golden Geko award for environmental excellence.

Not only is Neil a management systems developer he is also an author. Neil combines his WWII interest, his father's RAF experiences, and his background as a mine manager to craft his Adventure-fiction novel, The Owl with the Wooden Foot. The novel is currently available for purchase through Amazon.

NJDSR is a registered Australian Family Business operated by Neil. The business utilises Neil’s skills and experience gained over many years working in professional businesses.
NJDSR assists organisations in the development and maintenance of quality, safety and environmental management systems with a focus on the ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001 standards. The company operates in Australia and is based in Moorooduc, Victoria. NJDSR has worked with multiple organizations in achieving certification to these and other standards and provides ongoing support to maintain or improve their certified management systems.

Humble Beginnings
NJDSR was established in the back of a TV repair shop in Malaga, Western Australia in 1997 after Neil left a 15-year career with CSR Australia. In those early days we provided support for civil construction and contract mining services in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
The business initially operated full time but as employment opportunities were accepted during lean times the business was operated part time. There was a brief hiatus when the Dunbar family moved from Western Australia to Victoria. However, the business resumed operations in 2016 to obtain certification for organisations in the petroleum and rail safety industries.
Environmental Achievement
It was a condition of the licence to extract minerals that the mine site was to be progressively rehabilitated. The aim was to get the best bang for our buck, to get a quality outcome for the money that had to be spent on rehabilitation. Neil worked with Lindsay Stephens of Landform Research and Harry Butler Cit. WA to design and implement a rehabilitation program. A learning approach was taken and the results of rehabilitation were monitored to determine the most cost-effective means of reproducing the native flora to the mined sand surfaces.
After 5 years the rehabilitation was enormously successful and it was recognised by Quarrying Institute of Western Australia receiving an award. The techniques were seen as so successful that the rehabilitation program was recognised with the prestigious Golden Geko award by the Dept. of Minerals and Energy in 1994.
